Last weekend I jumped on a train to attend Drupalcamp UK in Manchester. I know a lot Drupallers from London, since we have regular meetings, but not that many from up north. I've chatted with many of them on the #drupal-uk IRC channel, but it was great putting names to faces and seeing some old friends. The event was held in the BBC in Manchester which was great and very comfortable, it even had a pub inside, which was sweet. Sadly I only could go for the first day and missed all the sessions on Sunday. Here is a summary of the sessions I attended:

Drupal has always attracted developers, because of the amazing and clean code it has, and because of the power of Drupal's APIs. Drupal has been slow to attract web designers, and I have a feeling that is about to change if it hasn't already. It is no secret that Wordpress and Joomla have a lot more beautiful free and premium themes avialble to download, this has always baffled me since it so much easier (in my experience) to make a Drupal theme.

These Ornamental banners come from the book "In Both Worlds" by William H. Holcombe, published in 1870. They where scanned and traced into vectors, so you can scale them in any size and even manipulate them with vector editing software. These are GPL licensed, so you are free to use them as you wish, although contributions to the site (with the contribute button on the sidebar or by submitting your work) are always appreciated. I'm really happy that other people started contributing to the site and this makes me want to work hard on making the site better.

This is a house that i made in 3d Max for my client. I have made lots of models , and i interested in sharing some of my work with other interior designers.
