free-type-ornaments-big.jpg

These vectors were based on typographic ornaments from th 1800. All the resources I make for this site are GPL, so feel free to use them in any way you like. If you do use them for a commercial project a donation would be really nice, please use the button on the left sidebar or contribute one of your resources to the community.

Its been a while since I posted anything on the site, I've been really busy doing websites for my new employers. I made this vector about a month ago, but never had the time to put them together and do a vector pack. I also made some vector in a 50's cartoon style that I will be posting as a pack soon.

Free Vector Skulls Pack

In the Reggae Vector post I did, I got a comment from dexcel00 asking me if I could  please create for him some skull graphics, so I did. I tried to cover several styles of skulls, so more people could find these vectors useful. Most of them where done using the pen tool to trace skulls, but there are some that where autotraced and then coloured using Live Paint in Illustrator. I hope you guys like them, and keep the requests coming in the comments, and I'll do my best to make them.

Jaguar Vector

in

Following the wild cats theme, it is time to look for inspiration in the rainforest of my homeland, and pay tribute to the Jaguar. I made this vector using the acclaimed online vector processing service called VectorMagic, I highly recommend this tool, and I think is going to revolutionize the way we use graphic design software. I got my first request to make some skull vectors, so you can expect them soon, keep the request coming, and I'll try to meet them all.

MySlimbox

in

myslimboxI already posted a Lightbox variation in one of my previous posts, but I got some feedback that the layout wasn't perfect on IE 5 and 6. I found Slimbox, a clone of Lightbox using Mootools, I think it's better because it is a lot lighter and the animations are smoother. My variation of the Slimbox (checkout the demo), has a lighter overlay, and the navigation buttons are always visible at the bottom of the image with the caption centred between them.
